San Patricio county is proud to be a clean air community that is in attainment of air quality standards established by the U. S. EPA.  Being in attainment of air quality standards not only means that San Patricio county air is healthy for you, your family and your employees to live, work, and play in - it means that doing business in San Patricio county is easier and less costly than doing business in a community that does not comply with air quality standards. The Corpus Christi Air Quality Group works to make sure that Corpus Christi, Nueces and San Patricio counties remains in attainment of air quality standards. The group is made up of representatives from industry, government, agencies, universities, and the general public and meets on a quarterly basis to discuss current air quality status and the development of programs and projects that seek to reduce air emissions. There are numerous efforts a business can consider that reduce emissions and ensure our continued attainment of air quality standards.  Click here to view a checklist of emission reducing recommendations compiled by the Corpus Christi Air Quality Group that we hope you will consider. Please consider becoming a part of the Corpus Christi Air Quality Group and being a part of Corpus Christi's continued clean air success story. For more information, please contact Gretchen Arnold; Chair of the Corpus Christi Air Quality Group at Gretchen.arnold@stx.rr.com.
